Billy Caldwell, located on Chicago’s north side, is 3,029 yards of pure golfing fun.
Big hitters may be tempted to go for the green on the par 4, 293 yard 5th hole, but beware – attempting to clear the water to find the sharply undulating green just may result in a costly penalty!
Only ten minutes from Downtown, it is a perfect place to play a quick nine!

PACE ON PAR
Pace of play is important to every golfer, and we are working hard to make sure pace is a priority because we respect everyone’s time. To ensure the course withstands the recommended pace of play of 15 minutes or less per hole, below are some tips on how to do so.
TIPS TO PLAY FASTER:
- Play from the correct tee box for your skill level.
- Always be ready to hit when it’s your turn.
- Go easy on practice swings.
- Putt out instead of marking your ball.
- Think ahead about where and how you will hit your next shot.
- Drop your teammate off at their ball on the way to yours.
- Park your cart on the path behind the green or side closest to the next tee box.
- Limit your time searching for lost golf balls.
- Record scores on the next tee box.
- Don’t worry about the group behind you, make sure you are keeping up with the group in front of you.
- Allow and invite faster groups to play through if there is space on the course ahead of you.
